Free music is NOT free. You pay for it with your processor cycles, your ramm utilitzation and SPYWARE. malware and trojans. Don't be cheap. Limewire purposely caters to the lowest of the low, only bearshare is worse. Virus writes know that this program is marketed towards newbies and distribute their tricks acordinly. ALSO Limewire is a poorly written ap that does NOT completely uninstall itself through add/remove programs. If you MUST have that program, I would back up your data, reinstall the operating system and drivers, do your updates and reinstall the offending program. If you don't know how to do this, you don't know how to use limewire safely. If you are CAREFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE, you can get some cool stuff there, but youre more likely to download a virus than anything useful

I use Beashare which has already been badmouthed just as Limewire has. Fact is you really have to know what you're doing to use these type programs without having any problems. Quite frankly most people are not enough computer savy to use them safely. They are loaded with spyware adware and viruses if, your not properly protected and careful about what you download your sure to mess up your computer.

LimeWire would not crash desktops, yet it does use countless CPU so it does sluggish your computing gadget down; yet all record sharing classes like LimeWire does that. it quite is oppose to be unlawful for people to try this yet it quite is unlike you're putting those songs onto to disk to sell are you? i've got been making use of it for a protracted time and that i've got not got any problems with it.
