I can not play video or music files continuously. They play pause, all the way and it is so frustrating - some one please let me know what to do to fix this, ie youtube videos. thanks

this sounds like the video is running quicker than your buffer can manage.

Personally i'd get some extra memory (RAM) and possibly think of getting a quicker processor (CPU).

You can match the speeds of your RAM and CPU to make sure you get the most out of both components.
Make sure you get the right type of RAM normally DDR or SDRAM and Athlon and Pentium chips are not interchangeable.

If this only happens online, like on youtube or streaming music, it might just be that your internet connection isn't big enough to handle the traffic.
Then it will stop for a moment to manage to download whatever of the file it is missing.

your question is not precise enough. but i shall try.

1)try not playing the video straight away the chances are they are not buffered(loaded) fully
wait for a while the click play and see if this helps.
2)download the latest flash plug-ins.
