Firefox will instantly use up 50MB RAM Space... this will make it a bit difficult for u 2 use other stuff like MSN/Yahoo Msgr while Firefox is open (since u have just 128MB)
but Firefox is faster than Opera
i use opera mostly... the RSS reader is far better than Firefox's, and the skins are nice. I think u shuld use Opera, cos its small and can handle tabs perfectly. It also has Speed Dialing and Mouse gestures
but Firefox supports all pages, while Opera does not.
i think either is fine unless ur some programmer (in which case u shuld use Firefox)
jus dont use Explorer: its dead useless

Firefox is great. First of all you're smart for not opting for Internet Explorer. It's all wrapped up in Windows and is always "worried" about Windows is doing, so it stays very busy. Firefox is not only a small download, but it is independent of Windows, so it runs more smoothly. Firefox, in my experience, is also more generally compatible with Web Pages than Opera.
Hope this helps.

While both have their advantages, I always prefer Mozilla FF. For one thing, it is smaller and faster. It takes more time to start at first, but after that, it loads pages much faster. Also, it supports the internet standards (DOM) better. So thumbs up for Mozilla Firefox.
What I have to say for Opera is that their zoom feature is very good for normal web pages. (Pages that have been carefully designed zoom well in other browsers). All text, tables and images are included in the zoom unlike most other websites, which zoom only text. This feature is usually good, and the only thing I liked about Opera.

It depends on what you mean by "better". With an older PC and Dial Up, I would recommend Firefox.
But you may want to "Tune it" for Dial Up first. I use Firetune, a freebie that works like a charm.

Both Teds above are correct. Firefox is far and away the best browser I've tried, and I've tried lots of them.
