How can I capture the subtitles from a DVD ?

I want to get the subtitles from the dvd (Pokemon Movie 9 ) and I want to edit them. I want to translate them into Greek . But I don't have any program that , it just captures the subtitles from a DVD , and it save as , as a subtitle file (srt...) please help.

It's not that simple.

DVD subtitles are PICTURES, not text. However, someone has been there and this is your solution:

Look for the linky, download it, and run it against your subtitles. You'll be prompted for each character that it doesn't quite understand. Teach it all the way, and you'll get a full output of all the SRTs.

To capture the subtitles from a DVD u have the proper software
subtitel editer..
