I have Windows ME and I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows XP Home Edtion. I want to do the full installion instead on the upgrade version. I know if I do a full installion I will loose all my files and my computer will be like brand new. This maybe be a stupid question, but will the full install version have the icons for recycle bin, my computer, network places, my document files, internet explorer icons to name a few? I'm what is all on the full installion, because I really don't want to loose those programs or are they included on the full installion?

I did a clean install on an older computer with windows 98 se and then an xp upgrade. I ran all the updates and installed ie7. I noticed xp upgrade took a long while in spots, but didn't think about the cpu so I didn't check it then. When I really noticed it was when I was installing one care but turns out it wasn't the problem. What I do know is I do not have a virus, as I just did this clean install. The usage jumps around from iexplore (especially when I first open the browser) to other processes. I even used microsofts troubleshooter with msconfig and its still doing it. Anybody have any ideas?

when i download a file, a window will appear asking me to choose a download method; regular or accelerated... how do fix this so when i download again next time, it will automatically choose the "accelerated". Thanks!

Hi - so far I've tried to print out a border for A4 sheet. I cant believe it but the ones I've tried only print out a small sample, NOT the whole border on my A4. Any suggestions? This is just really a simple border!!! Should be easy BUT cant find one. I may have my old windows 95. Would that be easy to put on my pc. Also, would I have to download my graphics program as well or just put the CD in my drive? I have "Coral Draw" and "Greetings Workshop" and a couple of other cheaper ones. Thanks.

I'm using the 'record' button in the program to record stuff I do on the program's keyboard. When I listen to the recording, there is a fuzz in the background. Adding more recorded tracks or turning up the volume creates LOUDER FUZZ!!!!. It soundz like a cassete tape, realy bad recording. Is it worthless? How do you fix this fuzz? (eliminate it)

Ok, I just downloaded a torrent. I've done it before and its working fine. But this one came in a whole bunch of files. I have WinRar but I don't even know what I need to do because I haven't gotten them like it before. Now, they all say "rld-s2pe"
I think its "sld-Sims2Pets"
I'm not sure. Then the other files, which look like cracks, all say "rld-s2pe.r30" that's just an example. And then it has the one document with the codes. But I'm lost.
Its not working or I don't know.
So help please. Thank you.

I bought the Nero 7 Essentials software, installed it and all is well, except that this program tells me the same thing my computer was--"there is no disk" or "insert disk" when there is a brand new one in there already.
