When entering numbers in an excell spreadsheet, I would like them to auto default to 2 decimal points. Can that be formatted in excel?

Yes, go to format- numbers and choose how many decimals you want the numbers to default to. Dont forget to format the entire page, or highlight the column first. Otherwise it will only do it on the one entry you were on when you did this formatting command.

right click on the box you want to auto round. Click on format. Then where it says select format type click on Number and you can set it to two decimal places.

Instructions for Round, Roundup and Rounddown can be found at the page below. It is for Excel 2000 but the principle should be the same in later versions.
