Software - February 2007

My wife and kid's computer has a problem...all the games that I installed, and put shortcuts to on the desktop seem to keep uninstalling themselves. I will install again, and the next time we click on it, it says something about "please install..."( i dont remember the actual message, and Im not anywhere near the comp. now. When I put the CD-rom in, there is only an option to install the games, as if it is the very first time. It sucks to have to do this every time...Any ideas??

how do i enlarge and clear an image with photoshop CS2?
if there are other programs that do it better then i wont mind use them.

on one hardrive. how can i totally delete the old OS and reinstall the new OS. They are both XP. I wanted to just repair the old
XP OS but it said i needed the admistrator password even though one had not been set. i tried setting one and using it with no luck now i just want to wipe the hardrive and install the OS to make her run like knew

I am doing some recording using a phone. but I get sick of having to keep finding the app and pressing rec. Is there any apps out there that I can set a level of VOX and it will pause reocrding, and start whn that level is breeched? looking to spend 0 - 50 bucks.

When nero 7 transcodes ready for burning to disk it runs my cpu at 100% after around 1 hour my system shuts down (i dont blame it!!) can i reduce my cpu usage or just stop my system closing down whilst transcoding??

Somebody told me that using Bit Comet is more legal (technically) than using other P2P programs such as Limewire. So whats makes this so. With Bit Comet you are required to upload to download isn't this the same thing when it comes to illegal sharing?

the entire page was solid white with start button and some other taskbar icons at the bottom of the screen. The icons at the left were gone and I have no recycle bin -not even on the secondary page with the command center -evrything else seems ok.However, been having problems with "program not ending" when I turn off the computer.Can anyone help today? Is there a program to automatically add a caption or watermark to a huge folder of images? I have a TGP site and have thousands of images I want to promote on ImageFap and other free image hosts, but I need to have a little icon on all of them that says my URL on them.

Is there any program that can go through all of them automatically or would I be forced to do it by hand?

I need something free, unless it's possible to do it in PhotoShop since I have that.

I have WMP 9 and windows xp. I have already downloaded all of the codecs available for this version. yet my MP still opens up to a green screen. I hear the music and sound but no picture just a bright green screen. If any one knows of anything else that may fix it please share it with me.

A friend in work sells pirate dvds and i bought some but they wont work on my dvd player and when i try them on my computers they wont work either.
He showed that they work on his dvd player.
