Software - February 2007

Ordinarily you just right click and it gives you that option, but *sigh* it's not giving me that option. Is there another way I can do it?

i was working in a document from e-mail. i download it and worked on it. than i closed it is said "woul you like to save" i clicked yes and word closed.
now i dont know where it go. i checked tem files and is not there

Some WinRAR files which I downloaded them from internet donot open, when I double click on them (the files inside the RAR window) an error message apears saying that it is corrupted, Please help me to open them because I need those files.

I have been using Windows Media Player for as long as I can remember but the latest version has URGE as part of it, and it really slows down my computer. So I need to find a new media player to use instead. Any help?

So I've downloaded this font called Ghastly Panic, it's a really cool font, and what I'm trying to do is to type words by using that font onto the picture.
So basically just words on the pictures except I don't know how to operate this font since it's downloaded.
I used WinRAR to open it, and it has something to do with extract file or whatever..?

Gah I'm just not good with computers, someone help me please?

If I've got a set of numbers. For example lets say they are 12,10,8,8,6. Now if I was to rank them they would be 1st ,2nd ,3rd ,3rd ,5th respectively. Obviously there is no fourth place because there are two placed at 3rd Place. Now if my requirement is to decide which one of those should be 3rd and 4th is based on another set of numbers for example lets say the highest from 100,110,200,400,450 respectively – what would be the formula I would have to set.

i tried to send pando and all their files to the recycle bin but all i got was access denied. Does mean my cpu could already be affected with a virus? If not how do I delete this program? Thank you.

I recently upgraded to VIsta from XP and hate it. I have both my XP recovery disk and an XP installation disk but when i try to run them in vista it says they're not compatable. Is there a way to run them from booting? Or, should i format my system then try to install? How would I do that?

Should I have got one? My friend didnt get one either, and we have the same laptop.

All I want to do is burn avi files onto a dvd disc that will play in my dvd player. I had nero but the new version has decided to delete the option to perform this task. I wasnt to know if there are any easy to use free programs that will enable me to get these files off my computer.
