I have been using Windows Media Player for as long as I can remember but the latest version has URGE as part of it, and it really slows down my computer. So I need to find a new media player to use instead. Any help?

Try VLC player. Its ultra-light & plays almost anything and everything.

I think you may want to try a Real Player which is freely downloadable from the online internet at www.download.com
it's quick and easy to use and works well with Windows 2000, 2003 and XP Pro.

Try downloading Roxio Media Player. It works well, and it does not slow my computer down, but I am on DSL.
