All I want to do is burn avi files onto a dvd disc that will play in my dvd player. I had nero but the new version has decided to delete the option to perform this task. I wasnt to know if there are any easy to use free programs that will enable me to get these files off my computer.

Have you tried Movie Maker? It's already on your comp, if you have XP and keep it up to date.

They'v other tools at nero for this
Vista is coming up with such a tool in it, it rocks!

i use roxio easy media creator. Never had any problems.
