I downloaded Microsoft Word onto my laptop and now it is in German (which I do not speak) and I want to switch it to English (a language I do speak lol). How do I do that? I don't wanna learn German!!! lol :)

Microsoft embrace necessary updates to fix critical security flaws and even use them as a means to control your computer by making it necessary foe customers to allow additional content to be installed by Microsoft every week.

Why don't they get their operating systems right in the first place rather than using their customers as beta testers and exposing them to fraud, identity theft and viruses.

Why aren't people annoyed about paying for a finished product by receiving a work in progress.

Shouldn't they be embarassed and apologising instead of beligerently using the necessitiy to trust their downloads so they can make alterations to our system which we don't even want,

eg xp SP2 which stops most file downloads from starting automatically making life difficult for both customers and software vendors to transfer files.

i havea new windows vista computer and i was wondering does anyone know if you can download windows internet explorer onto it? Iwant to download and burn movies off of sites like peekvid but Ican't because it keeps saying that it isn't internet explorer ready. can anyone help? I don't like windows vista but that's what my husband bought.

To email some photos, the file has to be 600KB or lower. All my photos are too big. I've heard ways to resize photos, but they were all ads trying to get me to buy and download their software. My phishing filter just wouldn't allow it. Is there any old-fashion Windows way to resize photos besides placing them in a zipped folder?

I had it, but I removed it so I could reinstall it to see if it would work. Now it wont let me install ActiveX so it can download. I have Windows XP and IE7. I went to Adobe and Macromedia and it is all the same. Everytime I start messing with stuff I mess it up bad, so .....What should I do???

I thinking of reformatting. I've done it before but with a disc. My laptop never came with the Windows Media Center Edition disk and was already on it. So if I reformat, will I lose WMCE forever?

XP has got some problems (still after 6 years) and I want to try linux ive got ubuntu 6.10 live CD and wondered if I can install it and keep XP aswell and how much space the core ubunte 6.10 will take up?
Also just a quick question does ubuntu 6.10 come with a firewall built in or not or isnt in needed?

When highlighting text and pressing Shift+F3 in Word - it cycles between all caps, all lower case, and Sentance case.

ok..My nickname iz dale.im 15 years old I am filipino and i speak 3 languages tagalog, Ilocano and a lil bit english. im a chickboy type of person and i love girls but my problem is the way i speak..i just barely came here (US) almost 3 years ago. ok i have acccent and i would like to ask u guys how to prevent my accent cuz im tired people make fun of me..im just being real..im willing to learn..i also have other problem...when i speak my voice won't come up "sometimes" not all the time..in other words staturing however u spell it..lol. since i was a kid but right now i feel much better...ok what should i do to prevent those accent.

Whenever I start Outlook Express, it automatically starts Windows Messenger. How do I stop this? I have already unchecked the "Run Windows Messenger when Windows Starts" and "Allow Windows Messenger to run in the background" options. I can't find any other options to alter, either in Windows Messenger or Outlook Express. Any help would be appreciated.

My hard drive was formated on a different system with casper xp to NTFS and in my computer (the one i want to install xp on) i have loaded in the bios optimal settings?

i want to install windows xp sp2 on this machine but when i set the machine to boot from dvd/cdrom it says error loading operating system what am i doin wrong

Every time I try to install ITunes on my computer(Brand new dell with Vista) it says that Vbscript is either disabled or not installed.
How do I find out if its installed so I can enable VBscript or install it if I dont have it?

I have an error message which comes up every time i switch my computer on.It started when i downloaded a new version of Internet explorer or something like that i cannot remember as it happened a couple of months ago and now the message is getting on my nerves so if anyone can help thanks in advance.
The top of the message reads.
Smartbridgealertsbthelpnotifier.exe.entry point not found.
Then under that it reads.
The procedure entry point getimagefilenameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAP.DLL,
I then click on ok and everythings dandy but i would like to get rid of it.
