i want to uninstall the program to save disk space. If i uninstall it, will i have video problems or any programs that will need realplayer?

Mostly no problems, but with some web sites, maybe, it is possible, just not as likely especially with flash and quicktime so dominant

Well, the only files that should be affected are .RM or .RMV files.

Personally I can't stand Realplayer, I use real media alternative with media player classic. You can find both programs with just a quick search.

Yes you need it! Some videos can only play on RealPlayer! So just leave it!

no. you can play most videos through windows media player. real player is not needed.

No, windows media player should be able to play them all

No. However, if you have files in the ealplayer format , they will not work until you reinstall real player.
