if you are copying a dvd from the store or the library or hollywood video you need to get rid of the copyright protection on it to do this you need to download a free program called dvd43 go to dvd43.com it is a dvd decrypter i don't know the best program to burn it on to a cd with but you can't unless you get rid of the copyright unless you get the movie by downloading it online then you don't have to get rid of the copyright

to copy dvds, use dvdshrink or fabdvddecryptor. if you are just burning onto a dvd, use nero.
