can i stop MSN messenger from starting up EVERY TIME i open my outlook express?

Click Tools and select "Options." In the "General" tab uncheck the box beside "Automatically log on to Windows Messenger" (4th option down) and click OK. Hope this helps!

if you have your hotmail a/c set up as your pop3 server then on msgr uncheck the box that signs you in auotomatically
