the problem i am getting is when i try to change the office assistant but when i click on gallery i get an error message saying not enough memory to complete this operation. can anyone help please

Vista is a RAM and CPU hungry OS. Unless you got a beast of a Computer then i would suggest staying with WIndows XP. Its alot more stable. Downgrade if you can, otherwise, get more RAM or increase your Virtual Memory Capacity

Unfortunately Windows Vista takes a lot of memory. I'd never install it on a machine that did not have at least 2Gb of RAM.

Well as Microsoft Vista has a lot of new stuff it uses a lot more than just 300MB+ like XP so Im guessing get some more RAM you can get 512MB for £30 from online stores.
