i installed limewire but it only seems to let me download one song. next time i logged on it prompted me to install java(?) so did that and it was fine for a while, but then after a while, every song i tried to download had sum crazy ad by a bush impersonater in its place, and now it wont let me on there at all. i click on it on my desktop and nowt happens. bear in mind im bad with computers so laymans terms please...fanx

I have an orginal genuine copy of Windows XP but I have lost the packet with the product key attached to it. How can I register it? The cd is about 2 years old and i dont have the reciept now.

It was 69 dolars. Very nice. But i don't really know what i culd use it for. One thing is , capturing me playing video games. Capturing a video mouse motions and movements for remembering How to do certain stuff. Making instructional clips.

But aside from that, any ideas?

Basically the business I have has computers throughout at different places and if we remotely login in to there computer and they login in as the same user it causes a problem and our programs that are running on the server start acting up.

Im download a 2gb file from BitTorrent but the download speed is only averaging 5kb/s. Im on broadband so shouldnt be in the hundreds?

When creating an excel sheet - for example an electronic weekly diary, how is it possible to ensure that the first row (or column) with the headings - such as days of the week or times always remains visable, no matter how far along the sheet you scoll. (Which would make it easier to fill in - so you don't have to scroll back to check if you are entering things under the right heading).

Now every few seconds I get a popup window that says :
Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x80004005)
I looked for help on the outlook site and there was a note that gave instructions on how to remove one update but it also said if it's not done right you may loolse all contacts. This does not seem right to me. I know they just released Vista and a new office suite. Now they put out an update that screws up my PC every few seconds this widow pops up I can not get any work done. so What I am suposed to do??Take it in for repairs just to be told I need the new release put out by Microsoft and it will only cost me a couple hundred bucks. PLEASE someone tell me that there is a simpler solution.

I just took some pics of my friends truck but since he'll have them on myspace and stuff, he wants me to blur out the license plate. I've used the blur tool and it just doesnt seem strong enough and u can still see the words or letters. I've changed the strength and everything but still cant figure it out!? need help on this one. Hello, I received a "Window's Vista Capable" laptop for Christmas, and we were told that they would send Window's Vista to us, but haven't received it. I was wondering if this is true, or if we will have to purchase the Vista?? I really want Vista, but don't know what I am supposed to do. Can someone help me?

Is there a XP(sp2) compatible Dreamscenes (the animated wallpaper in vista ultimate)?
Are there any modded/hacked version of dreamscenes to make it work for Xp that i can get?

When I go into the browser to find my songs it just shows the album names and when I click on them nothing happens. Is it because Ableton doesn't support the files? (I think most of them are AAC). If so what can I do to actually play my own music in Ableton live?

hey all. i recently downloaded nero from the internet. i have the premium version. i want to burn dvds using it but when i open the nero vison menu it only gives me the options of burning vcds and svcds. what shud i do? i heard there is a sort of plug-in that u need to purchase to be able to burn dvds or smething. is this true?
