Hello, I received a "Window's Vista Capable" laptop for Christmas, and we were told that they would send Window's Vista to us, but haven't received it. I was wondering if this is true, or if we will have to purchase the Vista?? I really want Vista, but don't know what I am supposed to do. Can someone help me?

I don't know who told you that but it really depends on when the laptop was purchased. Laptops purchased starting in October that are Vista Capable came with a free upgrade coupon, if you bought it before then, it doesn't, if you bought it within the free upgrade period then you should have received a coupon or something that you need to fill out and send away for in order to receive your Vista upgrade kit. If you lost the coupon... oh well... sorry. Turn your house/apartment upside and look for that coupon.
