hey all. i recently downloaded nero from the internet. i have the premium version. i want to burn dvds using it but when i open the nero vison menu it only gives me the options of burning vcds and svcds. what shud i do? i heard there is a sort of plug-in that u need to purchase to be able to burn dvds or smething. is this true?

Sounds like you downloaded the Nero just for CD burners, not DVD burners. Go back and download a DVD version. Mine came bundled with my DVD burner.

Launch Nero and Close the wizard.
Select File->New and a window appears.
Select in the upper left corner DVD and then DVD-VIDEO. (if you can't select DVD read here= http://www.videohelp.com/nerodvd.htm#problems)
And hit New.

sounds like you are in cd mode, need to click on the dvd tab to get other modes.
i might have a different Nero to you
