Unless you plan to use it for content that is in the public domain or otherwise legitimately free - no you shouldn't.

Downloading most music and movies without paying is theft. It is illegal, immoral and costs the entertainment industry, therefore ultimately the consumer, a great deal of money.

On a more selfish level - you could get caught and fined!

My Dear Friend,

First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.

Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.

Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

only you can answer that question.
in regard to your computer you should have a large amount of disk space and atleast 512mb RAM memory to prevent your pc from hanging.
updated antivirus software is a must if you want to use limewire or any other p2p software, because you can easily or accidentally download a virus if you are not carefull.

I used to have limewire and it caused a lot of problems for me and my computer.... now I use Ares. I like it a lot better and have had no problems whatsoever

It's a very good program. But you have to make sure that you are familiar with the basics of "Internet Security".You should always use a good an updated anti virus software. And also better not to allow any media content to acquire its' license from the internet, unless you are 200% sure it's a secured site.

No, because like others said, it was great for a few weeks, then after that my computer just crashed because of all the spyware it added to my comp!

its ok to use limewire but beware though, just like any other p2p softwares, your pc will be vulnerable to viruses.

well i use it
i get free music and
i like it but it does let spythingys in your computer most peolpe wil say no and stuff but i aint paying no 99 cents a song cause i like the older songs and im not paying that

i get like 20 songs and that is 20 dollars i can save

yea u should i have it and it wonderful because if u have micromedia all the songs u have on limewire automatically goes onto micromedia!

no .. it works really good at first then once u have it for about 3-5 months it crashes ur computer.... happens almost every time
