I'm also interested in converting DVD files to audio, and VHS to DVD. I really don't know much about this stuff. I asked a couple of employees at Best Buy today but they both knew pretty much what I know which is not a good sign. I would appreciate any advice and names of good programs that can do these things. My Toshiba laptop is vista capable and i want to upgrade. I visited this site http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/ebtext.to?page=vistaExpressUpgrade and i dont know what they want me to do when they said "When placing your redemption request, you will be asked to provide the following information: ... A valid Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for the preinstalled Microsoft XP software which is on a sticker affixed on the underside of your notebook."

Installed software and GPS unit on my laptop.
The GPS unit lights blue when plugged into the USB port (using included USB cable and black "adapter" included in package).

Tried to have software "locate me" in my house (to test software).
Got a message that the software has found a WIFI network, but get an error message that the software can not locate me.

Is the issue that it won't work in the house or is it something else?

i used to have my music go straight to windows media player,but now it all wants to go to winamp.and when i try and search for songs on limewire it it not songs at all.it is other junk from winamp.how do i get it back to windows media player?

I have bought a new mp3/4 player. i installed te driver in and it says' driver can only be used in windows 98 os' but in the pack it says it can be used in XP? what does that mean?

when it does finally install, a 'flash disk manager' nostice comes up saying 'USB: ibsizecap' with a percentage bar but nothing happens!!!!
