There are tons of open sourced partition editors. It's just most of them aren't for Windows.

Get a linux liveCD like Ubuntu or Knoppix. It will come with gparted (or qparted), which is very similar to partitionmagic.

Don't be scared of Linux. It's very easy to use. It's all GUI-driven now, just like Windows.

You can use Ares P2P to download Partition Magic.

Your computer comes with one, FDISK.EXE, so you already have it.

That said, you should have someone with you who knows what they're doing if you don't, because you can seriously screw up your machine if it already has data on it.

If it's a "clean" machine that you're partitioning, then it wouldn't matter.

I was on an adult website one time when a free program downloaded right onto my computer. I don't know if it partioned my hard drive but it tore it up something awful......
