The "PDF" file is just like the paper that you print out from printer but it can be viewed on the computer. I mean you can print and convert any documents using the PDF creator and it can be viewed on PC so you do not have to print it out for real. Because it is just a file on your PC, you can transfer, email or keep it on your computer as a small file and don't have to mess up with the real file and printed paper.
Get the for free "PrimoPDF" if you are using Windows XP at http://www.primopdf.com/
OR try "PDF Creator" program if you're using the other OS.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreat...
After you install this program , you can see another printer "Primo PDF" printer . If you would like to print it to PDF, select PrimoPDF as your printer.
That's it !

Adobe offers free readers, for pdf files. There are other ways to get programs that will handle pdf files without paying Adobe prices. Your best source will be Google. Check Adobe's website to see if they have what you need, at a price that you can afford. I do know that there are programs available that will convert another program, such as Microsoft Word into a pdf file.
