They used to go directly to "my pictures" in documents, and now I can't get them to go there. Where do I find the input of where they are set to go from my camera. I have microsoft windows xp.

They would go to my pictures automatically, i didn't have to pick anything, i think it was a default to that folder

if you know the names of files (if dont you can come to by connecting camera one more time), just search those files from "Search".
when you find them Cut/Copy and paste in "MyDocument".
About transefering from camera to pc, every cam browsing software gives a deault folder. it might have been changed.
so just connect the camera again and see the destination folder name. you can change the folder where you want to store the pictures by "browse".

If you're uploading from your camera to your computer, most camera software offers you a choice as to where to upload. Just click on "browse" and change the settings as to where you want the pics to go.....i.e C:\windows\documents and settings\my documents\my pics

when you upload and save them -are you picking "my pictures"? If you aren't try uploading another picture and see what it says on where it's going since you didn't choose....this will help find where the others are.

Can you try to put them in a new document?I think it would be better for your pictures.

try this "www.picasa.com" it is free and it finds every single digital photo in your computer and saves them in one page it transfers all your camera photos to this page and you can sort them out from there it is brilliant
