i have microsoft office professional it takes up a lot of space how do i back it up to a cdr disk?

IF you have more space in other partition then uninstall office and reinstall it.
While reinstalling you will see a screen where it asks you for the path where you need to install it. By default it loads onto the same partition where your operating system is.
Just change that path and point it to other partition where you have more space.

Once its installed you can't. You can make a copy of the CD.
