XP has a really nice feature where you can right-click on an image and say "Set as Desktop Background".

But what about when you want to get at that image again. It might have been an image from the net, or one from your computer that you have since deleted (or cant remember where you put it).

Windows obviously still has a copy - but where does it keep it?

The wii sucks! Is 2007, and they call the wii a next-gen console? not even close. Look at the PS3 or the 360, playing the games are like watching a Tv, the graphyics are so real!! And the playstation 3 with the blue-ray format disc which is the future DVD format and it can support 1080p. But look at the Wii, can't play dvd and the game grahpics sucks, is only slightly better than the gamecube. The new controllor dosen't work well for some games, like Call of duty 3.( check it out on Ign.com). The games for wii are so damn kiddy. Happy Feet, Cars , Spongebob , whatever..........! I don't know why nintendo think they gona make people buy it just because it's cheap and it's called the wii. The ps3 and the xbox 360 is a bit expensive but at least you will get your money worth.

When I rip a CD to MP3 format, at the highest quality rate in itunes the file size was 78MB, when ripped in WMP11 it was 130MB.
Is the quality the same with itunes having better encoding to a smaller sized file or does WMP11 have a greater capacity to rip higher quality mp3 with a trade off, of a larger file size?

As you may have noticed, the speed of the new Shoutcast Browser is really annoying and slow. By slow, unbelievably slow. It's unresponsive and it's laggy.

Any way to make it faster instead of getting the old browser? I tried getting the old browser and then it's hard just to make it watch folders, which never worked in the old Shoutcast Browser.

And I just want to try out the new one but in a better speed and have it not lag as much.. Or not lag at all.

So help, because this is seriously annoying.

Allows me to make certain parts of a picture black and white, and certain parts color. Must be free download, and also, don't say Microsoft Digital Image, when I download it, something screws up. Any others?

I'm looking to download/buy a video converter, not for DVDs, but so I can download pretty much any format of video - .avi being the most important - and convert it into iPod Video format. I'd be happy for any suggestions.

I'm looking for something easy to work with that makes the videos very nice looking - not low-quality, in other words.

I'm thinking of downloading the Xilisoft Converter [http://www.xilisoft.com/ipod-video-converter-mac.html], which looks pretty good - but seems to cut the very last half second off the video and quits the program. Not a big deal, but is there any other program you guys would recommend?

there is this person that I know who really likes XP, but their pc is slow when it is ran with XP. When it was originaly built, it came with windows me. I keep trying to tell this person "that it will run so much better, because ME uses less RAM and resources"

Yes. I have a broken CD Drive and i'm running Windows ME. I'll go get it fixed whenever I feel like it, but for now... How do I install Linux.. such as FREESPIRE or w/e without using a CD? Like, just on my HDD or something.. And partition it.. Using WINDDOWS ME.

I have 30GB. =O

Firefox has a feature called "complete .com" where you can press Control+Enter on anything in the address bar and it will add the 'www' and '.com' for you. I was wondering whether I could make, for example, Shift+Enter add "http://localhost/" before any entry.

I am running Windows XP home edition with service pack 2 on a Dell. A few weeks ago I downloaded and installed Internet Explorer 7 optimized for Yahoo. I ran it for a few days. I didn't like it and uninstalled it and my computer rolled back to my old IE6.whatever. A couple of weeks later I downloaded and installed IE7 again. I don't like the way it runs. I get a lot of "Internet Explorer can't find the page" messages and have to click refresh, or when that doesn't help, go back and try again. I tried removing it again through my Control Panel, Add Remove Programs. It wont uninstall because there is a program that is part of the installition that the uninstall wizard can't find, so it can't create a back up, and thus wont let me uninstall it. I also can't download and install IE6 because during the installition process when it recognizes that I have IE7 it stops and tells me that it can't proceed. What can I do? How can I get IE7 out? If I cant get it out I'll try another Browser.
