If you mean movie files, like .AVI and MPEG etc, you'll need something like DVD Santa which works very well, or Winavi converter which works but is very resource hungry.

i use nerovision express to write avi files to dvd so they can be played in a normal dvd player. you can create any menus you want on the dvd too.
