I would get 2003 bacoaus 2007 just play 2007 ppt files and nothing else is new. unless you plan to play 2007 files, you should get 2003.

I figure PPT Viewer 2003 will let you view 2003 and prior, but not later than 2003; PPT Viewer will let you view PPT 2007 and before.
