Also consider getting a full backup utility like Acronis TrueImage or Norton's Ghost. Windows System Restore just doesn't cut it these days, only backing up a handful of files (the system files).

Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore and choose a system restoral point

You need 2 go to the start menu then accessories the system tools and the restore. then follow the wizard thru the next steps. Remember to save you work first if no restore date is bold then that's it.
