i just downloaded bittorrent and currently it wont move since i added a torrent to it.
note: in the lower left corner it says checking for firewall

hi, does anyone know of a way to open multiple directories/folders at once?
It can be by software or some lite scripting. (hopefully a simple freeware)
I have some quicklaunch software that displays all the folders but I still have to click them individually.
I have a few folders on different partitions with samples and files I work with.
Would like to be able to open all of them at once.

PRO:
Access to a large bankof music

CON:
Once you cancel your subscription the music is no longer useable

Any other thoughts on the matter ?

I was just talking to a friend of mine and he had a file that he now says is gone from the computer. I suggested the Windows "Search" function and apparently they have already tried it. Do you have any other suggestions?

Computer was shut off before the install had finished. Screen resolution defaulted to lowest setting and can't be changed and other glitches.

I went to school for graphic design back in the late nineties. There I learned to use QuarkXPress. After graduating my jobs out of school did not use Quark. And I just got my own computer last year. So I'm really rusty when it come to Quark. And I have never used Indesign. I might be able to buy the program in a month or two. Which program is better to use and learn?

okay heres the question.

while i was finishing up mu long report that ive been working on FOREVER, mr computer froze. i restarted my computer and when i tried to open up my file, it just doesnt work. i can't open it.

i saved the file like every 5 seconds, and the program i used was microsoft works word processor.

whenever i open up works word processor it works, but when i try opening that specific file it just doesnt work.

no messages pop up or anything.

tried e-mailing it to my friend as an attachment, she couldnt open it either.

WHAT CAN I DO?!

i'm freaking out.
this paper is so important, i really need it
but i can't even open it!!!

if you're experienced with this problem or have an idea to fix it, i'd love ANY ideas no matter how stupid and general nor how specific and long it might be........ anything will help me

I keep getting a weird cursor problem with IE 7 tabs. I'm not sure what triggers it but I get a "no" sign as my cursor (like the one in NO smoking-the red circle w/ a line) & when I move it over a tab it highlights it but if I move it anywhere else, I get that "no" sign as the cursor. Can I fix this?

i downloaded a screensaver from the internet and i have the folder on my computer but its not showing up on my screensavers list on Display.
the folder doesnt have anything in it but an icon that starts the screen saver, an icon that starts it in a movable window and other icons that dont do anything.

how do i get it to work?

i used to use xp home and when my warrantee expired i installed xp professional. now i get two options in my screen and have to choose one of them eveytime i start the pc. wanna get rid of home edition. help me gyes......dont wanna loose any program except xp home.

On instant messaging and other programs when charactars show up in text. Like say someone i.m.'s me and it says I and then they have a heart symbol and then someones name, rite? Ok my computer doesn't recognize the symbol so replaces it with random letters. How can I get my computer to recognize it and be able to send those symbols myself? Like you know how you can download upgrades for Windows MEdia Player and what not, is there a way to do that for font? Please and Thank you
