I'm going to say Dell. We have three Dell laptops and have never had any problems at all . The prices are right , you can order online or over the phone. I shopped online at Dell.com configured what I wanted and had it in a very short period of time. I will buy another when I need too. I don't want to sound like a salesperson but I'm 100% pleased with Dell.

Even thought they fired me... I would still have to say Dell. I mean depends on what kind of money you are wanting to spend. Look at the refurbs at the Dell website, you can get some really nice deals. I have an Inspiron e1505, and love it to death, it has been the best computer I have ever owned. not too heavy, but screen is just fine!. love it.
if you really have a lot of money to invest, look into the XPS models, they cost more but are ten times the computer.

Dell has a great package. You can usually get a nice laptop with DVD burner and wireless internet with a decent amount of memory for about 600.00 dollars. It will also have a great warranty and customer service.

Well you will never go wrong with a Dell.
Of course laptops with Tablet PCS, are more expensive but very nice. I think gateway has a decent price on one.
