Most likely the Xp install installed itself over your old install....so xp home may not even be there....Does it load when you choose it?....if so that makes it tough.. if not then it's no problem...

in xp right click my computer goto properties......click the advanced tab and hit settings in the startup and recovery section...click the edit button and carefully delte the line containing the xp home OS.....save the file and reboot and it shouldnt ask anymore and just load xp.....

usually windows wont let itself be on one system twice, but you may have a partition of some sort that is allowing it to happen. although i am not positive, i believe you can fix your dilemma by turning your comp on, putting your win xp pro disc in, restarting, and then follow onscreen intructions and look for options that mention which operationg system(s) you have/use. there ought to be something that gives you the option of removing home ed. gl
