the date is january 15/07 i wanted to get windows vista beta 2 so i went to a few websites and found a way to get windows vista product keys before getting the .iso. I currently have 2 legally obtained vista beta 2 product keys but i cant get the .iso so i can install it. So my question is how come i can get the product keys now but i cant get the installation disk? If there's still a way please tell me

i have some 2 hour/4.7GB writable dvds but when i try to burn a movie on it, even though its less than 2 hours, its too big. what format should i use so it will fit and will also be playable on most or all dvd players?

i have 3 partitions one has windows, one is a backup partition that i dont want to screw up and one is an ubuntu partition that i want to have all my stuff for that onperating system on please help becasue i dont know what to mount the windows and the backup partition without doing anything to it, and i think i should mount the ubuntu pation as / because i want to install it there but i am still not sure.

Just wondering if anyone else who uses this program has this problem: For certain webpages, when I return back and put in my username/password, the whole program closes. It has done this for school, bank, & other secure sites...anyone have any info on why this happens?

i downloaded a file from demonoid.com and when i opened it, there was an iso image and an mds file.. i know that with nero, i can open and burn the iso file.. but i have no idea what an mds file is and how to put it on the same dvd as the iso file.. really need some help here.. thank you!

i put a cd int the cd rom and ran it for a while. Decided to stop cd. Took out and started computer and it said boot failure disk insert disk and hit enter i did and cd runs again but i do not want to run this disk anymore.

Hey, I just ordered an Upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for my Laptop (HP Pavillion DV6113US)

Should I look out for anything or does anybody have some tips or recommendations for me ?
I already ran the Windows Vista Scanner and it says I'm good to go Hardware wise.

Or any helpful advice or "user-testimonials" would be appreciated. Especially from HP Laptop owners like myself.

So far I've heard that

-Some Programs might not work
-Security pop-ups are annoying

If anybody has upgraded like I did, did it take up any extra space than you had before. Because my Hard Drive is dwon to 20Gb. So after I install it, wil I have more space ? Less ? The Same ?

Will it clear my Hard Drive ?

If it doesn't work out for me, will I be able to go back to my Windows Media Center Edition ?

For some reason, I am unable to watch videos online that has windows media player as its default player. For example, every time I try to play videos on the msn video webpage, I can hear the audio, but cannot see any video. I experienced this same problem while trying to watch a video on PBS.com. Please tell me what is wrong, I only experience this problem when trying to play videos online.

okay, so if you read my past questions it pretty much explains the computer im currently on.

This cpu WILL NOT boot up...itll get up to the point after the diagnostic boot screen then say soemthing about a dll file missing.

I tried to do a system restore...[6 or 7 times..] and I just keep gettin blue screen of death halfway through.

im using a kubuntu Live CD [thank god I ordered 20 linux CD's] to use internet someone pleaseee...help me. its windows media center edition[ 2003]
