im getting random pop-ups from something called outerinfo which im not sure what it is. i used ewido to get rid of spyware and stuff but it still wont leave. what do i do?

you need to use something besides ewido. I use Ad-Aware which seems to get rid of the ones that ewido does not recognize. You should be able to download Ad-Aware from the link below. You will be surprised at the number of spyware viruses that Ewido misses and Ad-Aware picks up. Good luck.

if your not online when they appear then run spyware and virus checks (adAware and AVG both work well, they're free). if that doesn't work then take your computer in to be cleaned.
if you are online when this is happening, a lot of pop ups avoid the filters

It is almost impossible to rid a computer of ALL pop ups. Especially on a PC. MAC machines are better for anti pop ups.

your spyware scanner wont do anything
you will need a pop up blocker,
www.download.com has freeware ones which are good :)

i don't every get any. haven't for a couple of years. cannot understand what is happening in your case. you will have to check out some other blockers. change your filter. not working is it?
