After downloading several programs from the internet, I now have all of their setup programs left behind on my desktop. Many of the files from these setup programs are now scattered on my hard drive.

I have several documents which contain both Excel spreadsheets and Photoshop images. When returning to open them, sometimes these imported items are "greyed-out" - You can no longer see them and when you print it just prints a grey block where the image should be. I have attempted to "re-link" them but that doesn't work either. Does anyone know why this happens? More importantly, is there anything I can do to restore the documents I already have?

I want to be able to read e-books on my mobile phone and have noticed the best way to view them is in *.TXT.
Therefor I need a preferably free conversion program which allows me to change Word and Adobe files into *.TXT files.
Is there anybody who knows where I can find such a program? As it are whole e-books I want to put on my mobile phone it needs to be a full working version.The ones I have tried only allow you to convert the first 5 pages, hoping I will purchase a whole program of the manufacturar of the software, which I cannot afford.

You will tell me to download Adobe flash player.... I have tried it 1,000 different ways.... I have removed it, reinstalled it, tried it with firefox etc etc etc etc etc. It doesnt work. In addition, my computer cant even find it!!!! So..... is there another way to watch this video?

I just downloaded a program from limewire that normally runs from CD. I downloaded and extracted the .iso from the .rar files. I then ran an ISO tool to convert the files. Everything extracted beutifully, but now when I go to run the program it asks for the CD. How can I format this data to either run from a CD or set it up to run from my hard drive.

Hi all,

I've been making regular backups from my Windows XP Pro machine on to DDS2 tape using Veritas Backup Exec 10 and I suddenly had a thought - it's easy to restore files from tape when the files were written there by this installation of Veritas (when it has the tape catalogues recorded), but say (worst-case scenario) this entire machine were to fail, would it be possible to have a re-installed copy of Veritas read from one of these tapes and determine their contents?

Just wanting to make sure my strategy is sound :). Thanks for reading!

I can find my way around a pc, but I want and need some extra training in excel and sage. I'm worried that I'll go along to these courses and everybody there knows all the terms used in working with these kind of packages, and I'll not be able to pick up what I need to learn......I'm bound to be the one that constantly says "can you repeat that please" :-(
Am I expected to know more before I go on one of these courses?
I'm ok with Sage....I worked my way round most of that, but still need training on other parts. But, microsoft excel, I know nothing about.

i can't activate my win xp home edition even i have a legal key, it says online activation cannot be completed at this time, i installed win xp home and updated it with sp2 using IT installer pack before trying to activate it, and now i can't activate it,btw i got message code no. 45123
i would appreciate ur help its frustrating
