I have several documents which contain both Excel spreadsheets and Photoshop images. When returning to open them, sometimes these imported items are "greyed-out" - You can no longer see them and when you print it just prints a grey block where the image should be. I have attempted to "re-link" them but that doesn't work either. Does anyone know why this happens? More importantly, is there anything I can do to restore the documents I already have?

1. It sometimes happens when the linked items are moved to a different location. Make sure they are in the original location as when you placed them the first time.
2. Have you tried to embedded the image in Pagemaker?
Its an option you can select when you originally place the image.
3. Maybe the PM file is corrupt.
Save the PM file with a new name, and try to relink your images.

Its been a few years since I used PM, but Id try those 3 things.
