I have avi's, iso's, Mpeg4 and bin file's on my computer!!

if you use Nero you can easily burn it to VCD or SVCD format , the file size will be smaller .No point really turning it into a DVD because the quality won't be any better than the original.

Your DVD player should be capable of playing these two formats , I haven't come across a DVD player yet that wont

if you don't have a program that helps you create movie DVDs...check your DVD player itself...most of the new ones will play formats like DivX, AVI, MPEG2...VOB file is basically a wrapper for MPEG2 that used for standard DVDs...MPEG4 is still a little to new unless you have a brand new player...iso and bin are computer specific formats what will not load on a DVD

*.vob "The ogg vorbis format" this is default for all home dvd player.
