On my microsoft word (PC), I've recently noticed that it won't allow me to backspace highlighted text.

I also cannot replace highlighted text by typing over it. The only was to delete text is by highlighting and using the "delete" button or by backspacing a single letter at a time.

I may have unintentionally changed preferences that is causing this. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

to close the window when i am done i have to right click the name in the status bar. the restore is gray in the pop up box when i right click it acts like it is disabled

I'm at a client site on an exchange server running server 2003. It's an 80 GB hdd with 75GB used. However I cant find what is using the space.. There's only one partition.. and when I goto properties for each folder on the root drive, the total of all folders is maybe... 24GB.. so we're short 50 GB?!? I've turned on view hidden files / folders and view system folders. I've also run check disk and I think my indexes are ok.. what could be causing this??

If you've had similar problems and know how to fix please let me know...

You know when you see computer software for sale on E-Bay, what is meant when it says the software is OEM version exactly? The details says it does not qualify for registration or support. I know it means original equipment manufacturer but what does it mean in terms of being compatible and does it go haywire after a while.

Whenever I want to watch a movie on Winamp, it plays the movie upside down.
