RAM is Random Access Memory it isn't ment to be a hard drive. It is only meant to be temporary memory for programs to use. You can not use it as a hard drive.

There are ways of using memory on the system as a RAM disk. You would reserve the memory that you want to use, and the system can assign it a letter just like it does for a hard disk or CDROM. However, each time your PC is booted, the RAM disk would start out empty and you would have to load the data in there again.

RAM cannot be used to permanently store data because it gets erased the minute you cut power, but it is useful for some people who need quick access to some software or data that is time consuming to load from hard disk or CDROM.

Dude, thats not how ram works. You RAM stands for random access memory. ROM stands for Read only memory. Nothing can be stored in your ram after the PC is powered down. Power goes off and POOF! everything that was in there is now gone.
