if i download a movie in mp4.....?

will i be able to burn it on a dvd. if not then what can i do to do that. i have a mac.

Try using iDVD. I am not sure if it supports that file type but if you open iDVD and create a project, then try to add that media to the project, it will tell you if it can not read it. If not, look for video converters to convert it to a file type iDVD does like. If iDVD can work with that file type, it will take care of making it playable in your dvd player.

yes you can burn a movie in mp4 to dvd. the only way that i have found to play these type files is with a dvd-divx player.
