my restore,max,min. buttons are gone the IM is full page i can't down size or close from the top?

to close the window when i am done i have to right click the name in the status bar. the restore is gray in the pop up box when i right click it acts like it is disabled

Try F11

Fullscreen option on the window.

Pressing the F11 key should do the trick.
