Computer was shut off before the install had finished. Screen resolution defaulted to lowest setting and can't be changed and other glitches.

For what I've heard IE, having/creating some problems.
I've been having lots of problems with IE and i like to switch to FIRE FOX, so i post a QUE. and received quality replies and lot of folks are agreeing with me to switch and keep the IE as well.

Restart your computer,
press F8 button
start in Save Mode
Go to System Restore from Accessories ---> System Tools
Restart computer

And then try to re-install IE 7

See if it is listed in Control Panel> Add/remove programs.
It would be listed as Windows IE7.
If not, try the system restore as suggested.
If it will uninstall, reboot then reinstall.
You may want to customize with some tweaks from http://www.enhanceie.com

You can't uninstall it because the installer is corrupted. To either use it or get rid of it, you will have to install it again. Go to this link and download again.

You have to download the installer as well as IE7.

System Restore. Start- All Programs- Accessories- System Tools- System Restore.
