I know its down to personal opinion but thats what I want to hear..

So do you think its worth it ?

the way I see it

PRO:
Access to a large bankof music

CON:
Once you cancel your subscription the music is no longer useable

Any other thoughts on the matter ?

do you use it ? what do you think ?

Also I do know of many ways of downloading 'free' stuff but I would like to keep it legal if possibe although I think Napster's price is very unreasonable for something which is basically nothing.... especially cnsidering their past anyway.

For free music there isn't anything legal at the moment, later in the year though a website called spiral frog will be offering free ad supported music downloads http://www.spiralfrog.com/about.aspx

You can download podcasts most are free just do a search for podcasts

There are also online radio stations such as pandora, there is a piece of software called pandoras jar that allows you to save the music from here but is tricky to get working http://www.hak5.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=21

there are other sites out there with a large bank of music which you can keep.
