Trying to use my webb Camera behind two firewalls; I need to know if ther is a switch that I can put on or off to allow me to use all Yahoo programs and functions.

I've just come into work to find that my outlook viewing settings have been changed and that several emails have been downloaded from the server after I logged out and went home. At first I thought it may have been my boss looking for a document but he says it wasn't him and there's no reason for him needing to lie to me.

We have recently had soem IT guys in to set up a wireless network and VPN. One of them seemed very keen to take a look at my laptop and clean it up - could just be my paranoia!

I'm wondering if it's possible someone has managed to switch on my laptop (it's plugged in by a cable to the network as the wireless isn't working after this guy changed the settings) remotely and look through it.

Does anyone know how I can tell when it was last logged into (Windows XP) and how I can tell if anyone's looking at it or has looked at it remotely?

Your help will be most appreciated.

Here's my situatuion. for months Someone( I have my suspicions on who) has been hacking one of my yahoo accounts.Continuously changing my password and reporting it has not helped. In December they started using it to get into my myspace acct.To stop this I changed the email address to the myspace acct. Tonight I logged into the other account and ecieved multiple messages labled"Unauthorized password retrieval." I checked it out and it gave the date time of multiple attempts to gain access to the account. each one also included the IP address of the person attempting to gain entry.This also happens to be the contact acct. for the yahoo that has been hacked.Upon closer inspection of the messages recieved from yahoo labled password changed it also showed the IP address of the person changing my password. It matched the one of the person who attempted to gain entry to the mail.com account.Can anyone help me figure out how to track it and find out who is doing this??

Have msn.com as home page and every time I log onto internet, tracking cookies come up. I learned this from using Ad-Aware SE to try and stop cookies and spy ware. HELP. Not very PC hip so make it simple as possible.

If in the event one were to find a way to circument current copy-protection measures on most comnmercially available DVDs, and were shortly thereafter given a reason to do so, would this activity in any conceivable way be logged or traceable?
