We found a file on our public system which has been passworded. We can't open it, but we want to erase it. How can it be done?

snapfiles.com
click freeware and find file deletion
u can get a free program designed to delete stuff that ur comp wont let u delete
many of these programs also serve to completely destroy deleted files because ur comp doesnt really delete things by erasing the memory that they are on it just marks the memory as usable so until its used that deleted file can be recovered from ur comp as if it were never deleted

ok-
right click and click delete/send to recycle bin
empty recycle bin
then go to your start menu -click search.
do a search for 'deleted files', scroll through until you find the one you need-then delete it through there.

oh-just wanted to add-when you do the deleted files search-be sure to ONLY delete that one that you wanted.
it can really mess up your computer if you delete everything that the search brings up.

you put it on your desktop righ beside your garbade bin then turn off your computer once restarted right away you slide it into to the garbage bin . once done you empty the bin and reboot your pc... this worked for me in the sme case and also to get rid of a virus
