i just got an alert that my antivirus blocked an intrusion by that. it would explain why Y!A is like this. did anyone else get that?

I can assure you that we're all not victims of a virus called strongbad using Y!A. Most viruses, and in this case you would be taking about a trojan to gain access or to be exact, open access would have had to be downloaded by each computer user here. I'm using very expensive antivirus and firewall software from my company, and it can pick up insignificant things like basic network traffic, and i didn't get a virus alert.
I'd advise you to ignore it.

I agree with the poster above. I have not received any alerts either. You may want to scan your machine with your anti-virus.
