is it possible for hackers too hack my external Hardrive??
i know hacking into your computer is possible but what about hacking into your external Hardrive??? please let me know ASAP thx

ok, since my external hardrive have a turn on/off button. what if i turn it off then could they hack into it?

Here's a sure way to prevent hackers from getting to your external HD -- unplug it! Actually this is only half joke. If you keep sensitive data on it, connect it only when you need access to that data.

if a hacker can get into your computer, then they can get into anything thats attached to your computer. a hard drive is not shown to windows as being external, its just shown as a hard drive.
