My laptop has a trojan virus, but I'm buying a new MacBook. If I was to transfer my old files onto the Mac, can the trojan infect the Mac? I know this can happen from PC to PC, but I know Macs aren't as susceptible to viruses like PCs are.

this is really strange as i even had gone to my local police and they dont even know , but there was this person who used her ss# to get credit to fix up a house and i got a call from a lending company stating that this person whos first name is different then mine used their own ss# and it came back from transuion credit that under this other persons name but has the same last name came up my full name and address and other alias that this person was using showed up my name, as all credit companies only go by your own ss# to get your rating. how can this be possible? I have a identity thieft protection on all my credits banks an so on but this was to much as not even the three main credit companies can not figure this out. how is it possible, it scares me so much as they have already succeeded in getting monies and loans in my name, but again using their ss# when i requested to see the report all this person did was add my first name to her ss# and it came up my flies,

Hi, i had posted a question earlier about my Norton telling me it has blocked a recent attemt to attack my pc, and it says something about deep throat trojan, when i run a full scan nothing comes up and now im getting these alerts every second!! Its driving me crazy, on my other question people said not to worry as Norton is blocking it! But how do i completly remove it? So i stop getting these attacks!!

My fiance has installed norton antivirus on to his computer, but i have already used it on mine, can you do this? Or do you have to buy another one?
His computer is coming up with errors now, keeps coming up send error or not sent...
He is going to uninstall it now.

Whenever i tried to search antivirus in internet my internet explorer has been disappear. And i can not download any antivirus in my pc even from any antivirus cd-software. Because whenever the computer found anything related antuvirus it automatically close that software. pls help me out.
