Go to Tools->Internet Options->Content tab, click on Settings for Autocomplete. Select there what you want IExplorer to save (in particular, 'user name and passwords on forms' and 'prompt me to save passwords'). Now that you're done, go to some website, where you already have a saved user name and password, and enter user name that you'd like password to change for. If it fills in that name/password form for you, retype the new password instead of the old one. Explorer will ask you if you want to change the old password with the new one, click yes. You're done.

If you are talking about pass words that you use on various sites, there should be a place on the site for you to go to your profile and change the password. You will need the old one to do this. You can do this on any site and your home page. Same as when you log on. If you have told it to save your password so you don't have to do anything but click IE to go to your home page, you can either delete the cookie that has it and then log on new, or do the change the way above.

Just delete the old one,and when you log onto the site again, and sign in, it should save the new one.
