i always have but Byron M made me think about it.
i usually run them in 'safe mode' which is a no-brainer, but what's the harm in running them all at once?

My computer makes this weird noise when I go to certain web sites. Some people have told me it's because someone is gaing access to my wireless network. Now my computer is telling me that there are critical system errors and that I have viruses. How can I fix this?

I was not able to uninstall.
There would be an 'AVAST warning' - malware detected. malware name : W32:Nimda(Drp). After following instruction to delete, Avast would prompt - Cannot process. Should I just leave the panda there?

There are a few select URL'S that I can't go to? They are all affiliated with my godaddy accounts.
Keep getting " page cannot be found". I get to them with other computers. I've cleaned up my cash and history, tried using firefox and internet explorer, ran adware removal programs??? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can you get a virus connecting to a neighbor's router? He has no passwordd so I can connect to it freely. Is it okay to continue to do this? I have my own dsl line but i only connect my other laptop to the neighbor's router via wireless. Can it get a virus?
