Yes you can do a system application recovery under start and all programs and look for tools and it will erase anything that has been put on by you & will restore it back to like the day you got it.Or when you start up windows hit F10 several times and it will do it.I have done it many times on mine

Unfortunatley, no. You would need to contact your pc manufacturer for a replacement operating system disk. Or, you could always take it to a local pc repair shop. Don't take it to some place like geek squad. They are overpriced, and their people don't know anything. It's better to take it to a small, local shop, if you can't get a disk from the manufacturer.

You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

You may have a Restore partition on your harddrive. If you do not know what you are doing, you should really call your computer manufacturer's customer service and have them guide you through it. Have your computer Service Tag or whatever ready.
